Holistic development – nurturing and nourishing the whole child.

Community – establishing a range of close connections and creating a sense of community.

Relationships – children learn through diverse, positive, and reciprocal relationships with people, places, and experiences.

Environmental Sustainability- learning about nature, in nature, for nature.

Nature, children, holistic, steiner, kindy, forest school, nature play

I have always felt a deep connection to nature's beauty and wisdom, which inspires my passion for teaching children to love learning. Earthsong embodies this philosophy of holistic connections: " Connect to Self, Connect to Others, Connect to Nature."  One of my proudest moments was volunteering in Peru to help establish a free school for children who were often confined at home. The joy of seeing their smiles and receiving the honor of a child named after me was unforgettable.

I believe it is crucial for children to develop a relationship nature to truly care for it. By engaging the natural world through play and exploration, they can foster meaningful connections making nature an ideal educational environment for holistic learning.

Earthsong Nature Programs, directed by Jasmine Kennedy, an registered teacher and Level 3 Forest School Leader, offers nature-based learning. With 25 years of teaching experience and multiple qualifications, including a Master's in Education, Jasmine designs and leads all sessions.

The program promotes child-led learning, encouraging exploration and creativity through natural resources. Sessions run for four hours, aligned with school terms, and are tailored to support diverse learning styles and individual skill development.
